Return & Exchange Policy


At Fair Shade we strive to ensure you receive the best online shopping experience. Our policy (regarding non- t shirt/custom items) allows for returns on new, unused items that were originally sold by Fair Shade.  These items may be returned within 30 days of purchase for a full refund or exchange.

  • Items must be returned in original packaging with product tags.
  • Garments must be unworn, unwashed, and unaltered.
  • Undergarments, Body Suits and Bathing Suits are non-refundable and may not be returned.
  • Sale items are non-refundable and may not be returned.
  • Original receipt or proof of payment must accompany all returns.
  • Shipping costs not refunded. (Except for when Fair Shade has made a shipping error). 
  • Fair Shade does not cover the cost for return shipping, but will cover the cost (free of charge) to ship your exchange request.

Refunds (if applicable)

Please complete the return/exchange questionnaire located your original shipping package. Customer may also download a copy of the questionnaire from the website.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days (normally depends on Credit Card Company or financial institution.)

Exchanges (if applicable)

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift credit will be applied to the account for 30 days upon receipt.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to them to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and the gift giver will be notified.

Returns on T Shirt and Custom Items

For All Custom orders, we kindly ask that you refer to the sizing chart for detailed measurements prior to making any purchase. Refunds for T-Shirt and Custom items are ONLY eligible if the product gets lost in transit, is defected based on delivery or if the customer received the wrong item. Unfortunately we will WE WILL NOT refund for choosing the wrong size, color, garment type or for customers sending the wrong shipping information. All Custom orders are final.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. See shipping policy for full details.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
